  3. Before we discuss Source Art, it is important 
  4. to point out that Idea Source projects, Gallery 
  5. ideas and all demonstration videos use artwork 
  6. from Electronic Clipper, Designer's Club and 
  7. Electronic Print Media Service art products. 
  8.  
  9. If you see images that doesn't appear familiar to 
  10. you, chances are they were supplied by a different 
  11. art service than the one you subscribe to.  It is 
  12. for this reason that content of Idea Source tends 
  13. to place more importance on the techniques and 
  14. creative ways to manipulate ANY illustration, not 
  15. just the ones seen in the demonstrations.  What you 
  16. learn from an Idea Source session can be applied 
  17. many different ways.  We'll supply the ideas and 
  18. techniques that you can add to your bag-O of tricks.
  19. If you do see one of those "I sure could have used 
  20. that one" images, you will also see where it came from.  
  21. Idea Source sections provide an image number and the 
  22. name of the art service that the image came from.
  23. Idea Source ART - What is it? The artwork that 
  24. you find in this folder is provided to you as a free 
  25. bonus and can help to serve two purposes.  First, 
  26. images included in the Source Art folder can be 
  27. used to take examples created in Idea Source a step 
  28. further.  Experimenting with what you have seen without 
  29. having to start from scratch.  Second, if you do not 
  30. have access to the software or artwork used to create 
  31. these examples, you can still take advantage of the results.
  32. Lastly, in the process of making Idea Source, it is 
  33. necessary to create original artwork that is specific 
  34. to the program.  These images are most often PICT format 
  35. files designed for screen applications (72 dpi). 
  36. All of the backgrounds, buttons, 3D models, and animations 
  37. created for Idea Source, can now be found in the SOURCE ART folder.
